WML Provides NoMachine to a VFX company, a remote access solution was needed that would serve users from around the globe while maintaning superior 3D graphics performance

Challenge

With Studios Worldwide, 100s of users would be accessing their datacenter over a 24/7 period locally and remotely.

3D performance was critical, Smooth graphics and a low latency connection would need to be necessary.

Results

Use of NoMachine Enterprise Terminal Server provided fantastic performance when dealing with intense 3D graphics this was combined with Enterprise Terminal Server Node for a fully load-balanced operation.

The use of H.264 NVENC API’s allow NoMachine to take advantage of the graphics card capabilities server-side, effectively reducing CPU consumption, meaning you get more fluid experience when remotely accessing multi-media content and high-performance apps.
